Current weather situation
The upper-level wind is veering north-west, and the air masses are drying out as a result of the Föhn.
Widespread sunshine is expected at first, with a few clouds along the main Alpine ridge. As the day goes on, a few harmless clouds will drift in from the northwest across the rest of the region. Föhn winds will develop in the northern valleys.

Friday will remain sunny and very hot, with the risk of heat thunderstorms developing towards the evening.
